While this is technically true, there are a number of other bars that are either owned by lesbians or frequented by so many lesbians, they might as well be a dyke bar, including Jabu’s Pub, OutWest Bar, and Tommy Gun Seattle. If you do your Googlage, you’ll find out that officially there’s only one “lesbian” bar in Seattle, the Wildrose Bar. Since coming out, Seattle has proven to be an awesome place to live for a number of reasons: the people, the weather, the natural beauty, the nightlife, the outdoor life, and oh yeah- did I mention how queer-friendly this place is? I travel quite a bit for work and hands down, I think Seattle is the best place (besides New York) to be a queer lady.
